On Wednesday 29 we showed "La noche de los girasoles", from my perspective, one of the greatest thrillers of Spanish cinema that combined the suspense with the most typical Spanish sense of humour. Jorge Sánchez-Cabezudo created a story in which anger, love, hate and sexual obsession are mixed. It is in fact a realistic film played by great actors who make the audience laugh and shudder. On Wednesday 29 we showed "La noche de los girasoles", from my perspective, one of the greatest thrillers of Spanish cinema that combined the suspense with the most typical Spanish sense of humour. Jorge Sánchez-Cabezudo created a story in which anger, love, hate and sexual obsession are mixed. It is in fact a realistic film played by great actors who make the audience laugh and shudder.

A very powerful film with no holds barred.
ReplyDeleteI did expect the violence as one of my favourite films is Pan's Labyrinth, which is very graphic, but the great direction of La Noche de los Girasoles made it a fantastic thriller.
Can't wait for the next film :-)
